I was really surprised to read these stats. http://bit.ly/d7Id5S. Breast cancer risk increases more with alcohol consumption than taking HRT. From my perspective, it begs the question, when the HRT studies were done was alcohol consumption taken into consideration, as this would surely compound the risk? People are always asking me how to lose weight and I try not to get involved because it is such a complex subject. I do tell everyone that diets are a ‘no no’ but suggest they pick low GI (glycemic index) foods to eat so that they don’t upset their blood sugar and insulin levels.
