I hear vegans who get breast cancer complain that diet doesn’t matter because the still got cancer. Diet does matter-there is just no one size fits all. Some people are just not metabolically suited to be vegans. It goes back to eating the way your ancestors ate. I have a friend who is a vegan who flourished, but she insisted her husband eat her way, and after a couple of decades of very little meat, he developed brain cancer. Men especially, unless they have Asian roots seem to have a lot of problems with a vegan diet.

I think diet is important if you’re not bothered what you eat and processed food becomes an everyday habit. It’s the processed food munchers that need re-educating. It’s processed food that has caused the obesity epidemic which will have an impact on increasing the number of women who get breast cancer. It’s a sad state of affairs.
